2 MARC stations reopen

ABERDEEN, Md. (AP) — Two Maryland Area Regional Commuter train stations closed because of downed power lines have reopened.

A MARC spokeswoman says the Aberdeen and Perryville stations reopened shortly after noon on Wednesday. The stations serve about 400 people a day.

The stations were closed Tuesday, along with Amtrak travel from Washington to Philadelphia.

Service was suspended for much of Tuesday on Amtrak’s Northeast Regional and Acela Express lines but resumed in the afternoon.
