Police seek help in solving 2 cold case slayings

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) — Hagerstown Police are asking for the public’s help in solving two cold case slayings.

Officers say 35-year-old Alfarad Aquil Evans was shot and killed when several people broke into his Linwood Road home on March 26, 2012. Three men wearing baggy clothes were seen running from the home.

Investigators say 20-year-old Everette Wade, also known as Dontae Marvus, was fatally shot on Dec. 20, 2013. The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown reports (http://bit.ly/1u50IeP) that he was walking a block from his home on South Locust Street.

Police urge anyone with information to call the department at 301-790-3700.
