Police believe same man robbed 2 Harford banks

WHITEFORD, Md. (AP) — State police believe the same man is responsible for two bank robberies in a span of just over 48 hours in Harford County.

Police say the man robbed the PNC Bank branch in Whiteford Tuesday afternoon. Police say the man handed a bank employee a note demanding money but did not display a weapon or imply that he had one. He fled with cash.

Then, on Thursday afternoon, police believe the same man held up the National Bank of Rising Sun in Street. Police say the note demanding money was similar, and again, there was no indication the man was armed. He once again left the bank with some cash.

Police posted a photo of the suspect on Twitter. He was wearing a blue T-shirt and a baseball cap.
