Greenbelt missing mom found dead

WASHINGTON — A Greenbelt mother of two went missing on April 21, and now police say they have found her body.

28-year-old Emilia Ignacio was found dead in the passenger seat of a red Nissan Altima Friday afternoon around 4 p.m.

Greenbelt Police say she was stabbed multiple times in the torso. The knife was found in the vehicle.

It was parked on Frankfort Drive, near the home that she shared with her boyfriend Juan Miguel Roman Balderas and two children.

Police believe Ignacio was last seen with the boyfriend on the night of April 21 – Balderas has not been seen since.

They are searching for him and a 2005 red Jeep Grand Cherokee with Maryland tags 1AG9751
