Man arrested in peeping tom incident at UMd.

WASHINGTON — A University of Maryland student has been arrested after an April 2 peeping tom incident at the University of Maryland College Park.

A woman who is a student was using the bathroom at the school’s Biology-Psychology building when she saw a phone on the ground and pointed to her. She left the bathroom then came back and asked the person in the stall about the incident. He took the phone and left.

After receiving information on April 3 about a possible suspect, police followed up on April 7 and were able to make an arrest.

Ernest Attakora Margo, 21, of Reistertown, Md. was charged with “disturbing activities at a school or college; molesting or threatening students or school personnel prohibited.”
