Man gets 10 years in fatal Salisbury shooting

SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- A man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison in the shooting death of another man after an altercation.

Thirty-year-old Deonte Grant had pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in the death of 24-year-old Dominic Jones. Grant was sentenced Monday in a Wicomico County court.

The Daily Times of Salisbury reports (http://delmarvane.ws/1cP6hGr) that prosecutors say on July 8, Grant and Jones got into an argument and shoving match outside a woman's home.
