BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore officials have canceled the mayor's annual Christmas parade because of snowy weather.
The 41st annual parade had been scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Hampden neighborhood.
Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake's office announced the cancellation Sunday morning, about 90 minutes before the parade had been scheduled to begin. Caron (kuh-RAHN') Brace, a spokeswoman for the mayor, says the decision was made because road conditions were deteriorating.
