JOPPA, Md. (AP) -- The Harford County Sheriff's Office says two men have been charged with stealing air conditioning and heat pump units and commercial-grade kitchen equipment from businesses and homes in Harford County.
Deputies say the thefts occurred between Nov. 18 and 22. The value of the stolen property was put at more than $12,000. Police say the stolen items were taken to recycling centers and scrap metal yards and sold.
Forty-eight-year-old Donald Fruhling of Edgewood and 42-year-old William Edmonds of Baltimore were arrested Thursday at Fruhling's home. They have been charged with multiple counts of theft.
