DUNDALK, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County fire officials say three people, including one firefighter, were injured in an apartment fire in Dundalk.
A fire department spokesman says firefighters rescued several people who were trapped on balconies during the fire late Friday night. A total of 10 people were removed from the burning building by firefighters.
The department says one of the residents was seriously injured. The firefighter suffered non-life-threatening smoke inhalation.
The fire damaged 12 apartments in the building, displacing 18 residents. It started in a ground-level apartment.
The cause is under investigation.
