SPARKS, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County Police say two people were killed and two people were hurt in a three-car crash in Sparks.
It happened about 10 p.m. Thursday on York Road near Thornton Mill Road. Police say a Hyundai Sonata was traveling north when it crossed the center line, struck a Hyundai Tucson, went back into the northbound lanes and was hit a Dodge Dart.
Officers say the driver of the Tucson, 85-year-old Charles Wagner and his wife, 84-year-old Jeannine Wagner, his passenger, were pronounced dead at the scene. Another passenger in the Tucson, 79-year-old Mary Antionette Warner, was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, where police say she was in critical condition.
Authorities say the driver of Sonata was taken to Shock Trauma with injuries that are not life-threatening.
