LEONARDTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police have charged a live-in baby-sitter with sexually abusing a child in his care.
Troopers said Friday that a relative of the child found pornographic pictures of him on the babysitter's cellphone and notified authorities.
Police say the man has been charged with sexual abuse of a minor, second-degree sexual offense, and possession of child pornography. He is being held in St. Mary's County Detention Center.
Troopers are withholding the man's identity to protect the alleged victim.
