OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) -- Ocean City police have arrested two men they say tried to pay businesses with counterfeit money.
Officers say starting on April 2, authorities received reports of fake currency from local businesses. During an investigation, police identified two suspects.
Twenty-five-year-old Derrick Ryan Richardson of Parsonsburg and 26-year-old Justin Michael Scanlon of Ocean City have been charged with knowingly issuing counterfeit United States currency, theft and other offenses.
