Driver killed when cement truck crashes

UNION BRIDGE, Md. -- Fire officials say a Woodsboro man was killed when the cement truck he was driving crashed into a culvert near Union Bridge.
It happened about 6:15 a.m. Monday on Md. 75. Authorities say 58-year-old Terry Lee Myers lost control of the truck as he rounded a curve.
Officials tell The News-Post of Frederick (http://bit.ly/WUeUcy) that the truck crossed the center line and landed on its side in a culvert at Sam's Creek.
Myers was pronounced dead at the scene.
Maryland State Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
