EDGEWOOD, Md. - Harford County authorities say two teenagers have been shot in Edgewood, and one has died.
Sheriff's deputies were called to the Candlewood Court area of Edgewood late Thursday night. They found two victims with gunshot wounds in the Cunion Recreational Park. The shooting victims were identified as 17-year-old Michael Kearins of Edgewood and 18-year-old Christopher Cousins of Edgewood.
Cousins was flown to Maryland Shock Trauma where he is expected to survive. Kearins was taken by ambulance to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators say the teens were in the park area to meet someone when they were approached by several suspects who shot the young men multiple times.
