Md. pair charged with New Year's sexual assault

WASHINGTON - Police in Washington say two Maryland men have been charged with sexually assaulting a woman in district parking garage early New Year's Day.
Police say 21-year-old Nicholas Schultz and 26-year-old Matthew Maldonado were arrested Friday and charged with second-degree sexual assault. Police say the assault occurred shortly before 4 a.m. Tuesday in a parking garage in the 1700 block of Rhode Island Ave., NW. Police say the victim had left a New Year's Eve party with the two men.
