SYKESVILLE, Md. - They're known as the "Team of Ten with Teeth."

The Maryland State Police on Friday will be holding a graduation for 10 new dogs that are entering the force.

They've gone through 14 weeks of training.

They consist of eight German Shepherds, one Chocolate Labrador Retriever and one Golden Retriever.

The state police say it's one of the largest canine classes to graduate. They all focus on detecting drugs.

The Maryland State Police K-9 unit has been in operation for more than 50 years.
