BALTIMORE - Prosecutors say a Baltimore school employee is facing charges in Harford County, where he is accused of having sex with and impregnating a student.
And school officials in Baltimore said Wednesday that they are still trying to determine what duties Shawn Nolin had at the elementary and middle school where he was hired as a temporary community outreach employee. The Baltimore Sun reports that ( http://bsun.md/RCZd70) parents, prosecutors, school officials and others say Nowlin represented himself at times as a therapist, social worker, guidance counselor, vice principal and others.
Harford County prosecutor have said the alleged victim is a student in the county and Nowlin met her and her parents outside of school functions. Nowlin attorney Terry Lavenstein declined to comment about his credentials and said his client maintains his innocence.
