COLLEGE PARK, Md. - A Maryland state trooper has been injured after being struck in College Park by a car that police say was stolen.
Sgt. Marc Bell, a state police spokesman, says Tfc. Manuel Moreno was hit Friday while trying to stop the car.
Moreno was treated and released at a hospital.
Police say 23-year-old James C. Gregory of Washington was arrested and is being treated at a hospital. He is expected to be charged when he is released.
