BALTIMORE - Democrat John Delaney continues to raise more money than Republican incumbent Rep. Roscoe Bartlett in the campaign for Maryland's 6th Congressional District.
The Baltimore Sun ( http://bsun.md/R88vEb) reports that campaign financing statements filed Monday show that Bartlett raised just over $218,000 in the latest quarter. He had nearly $221,000 on hand at the end of September.
Delaney raised just over $399,000 and loaned his campaign an additional $118,600. He had $249,000 in the bank at the end of September.
The Potomac businessman is mounting a strong challenge to Bartlett's bid for an 11th term in a district made competitive by redistricting.
