WASHINGTON - The Maryland Transit Administration says service on a portion of the MARC Penn Line has been suspended due to a power outage.
The administration said early Monday that there is no service north of Martin State Airport until further notice. That means there is no service to Perryville, Aberdeen and Edgewood. Trains are operating normally from the airport south to Baltimore and Washington.
The power outage is affecting Amtrak trains as well. Only partial service was operating between D.C. and Wilmington, Del., late Tuesday morning, with trains operating at regular speed on one track.
Crews are working to repair the outage.
