CHARLOTTE HALL, Md. - The Charles County Sheriff's Office says the drowning of a 30-year-old Charlotte Hall man appears to have been an accident.
Officials say Raymond Hostetler Yoder was fishing out of a kayak on Trinity Lake about 5:30 p.m. Friday when the kayak flipped over. The sheriff's office says Yoder fell out and did not resurface.
A relative who was on the shoreline alerted authorities and the county's dive and rescue team located Yoder about two hours later.
The sheriff's office say Yoder was not wearing a flotation device.
