BALTIMORE - Baltimore police say a man who had burglarized a Roland Park home fell to his death from the house's balcony after being spotted by the homeowner.
Police say the resident arrived at his home about noon on Monday and saw a man on the third-floor balcony at the back of his house. Officers say the man tried to climb over the railing and slide down the side of the house, but lost his grip.
Police say the man fell 26 feet onto a concrete walkway. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Police say the house had been broken into and ransacked.
