Student stabbed at Silver Spring high school

SILVER SPRING, Md. - Montgomery County Police say a student has been stabbed on a high school campus in Silver Spring.
It happened about 11 a.m. Monday at Northwood High School. Officers say the victim, a 15-year-old male, was stabbed in the leg with an unknown weapon.
The stabbing happened in a hallway outside the cafeteria.
The victim was taken to a hospital.
Police say 18-year-old Chidat Tarawally of Silver Spring has been charged with assault. He is also a student at the school.
