Man who robbed 2 stores in 2 days sentenced

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - A homeless man who robbed two stores in two days and crashed into police cars while fleeing has been sentenced to 25 years in prison without parole.
Forty-five-year-old Derrick Lanham had pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery. He was sentenced Monday.
The Capital of Annapolis ( http://bit.ly/WwvCLK) reports that according to his plea, Lanham robbed a convenience store on April 11 and a beauty supply shop on April 12. Both stores are in Glen Burnie.
When fleeing the second robbery in a car, Lanham crashed into two patrol cars, injuring two police officers.
