ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Many Maryland state employees are observing a service reduction day.
On Wednesday, state employees will be observing the third of five scheduled service reduction days this year to save money.
Service reduction days, which precede holiday weekends, affect state operations for employees who do not work for agencies that provide services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
