WASHINGTON (AP) — The Washington Wizards have hired former NBA guard Howard Eisley as an assistant coach.

The Wizards announced Thursday that Eisley will join Don Newman, Don Zierden, Roy Rogers, Pat Sullivan and David Adkins on head coach Randy Wittman’s bench.

Eisley spent the last four seasons as an assistant with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Eisley played 12 seasons in the NBA with eight teams. His career ended in 2006 with the Denver Nuggets.
