Jumper had mental health problems, father says (Video)

WASHINGTON – Dominic Adesanya, the unarmed man who jumped the White House fence, had tried before to get in and see the president, Adesanya’s father told a Baltimore TV station.

“It’s been hard,” Adesanya’s father told ABC2. “It’s hard to be in your house and not know if the person you’re living with is trustworthy and to know they’re mentally disturbed like he is.”

He says he had no idea his son planned to jump the fence, but does say about two months ago his son was at the White House gate, trying to get in. He was charged with a misdemeanor for the incident.

Adesanya, according to his father, would hear voices and thought he was under surveillance.
