MARTINSVILLE, Va. (AP) — Martinsville police are investigating the fatal shootings of two men and the wounding of another man.
Police identified the victims as 30-year-old Orlando Akridge of Martinsville and 32-year-old Julius Keon Giggetts, formerly of Martinsville.
Police say in a news release that the third victim was treated at a hospital for a non-life threatening wound and was released. He wasn’t identified.
Officers found the victims after receiving a report of shots fired at an intersection around 1:50 a.m. Sunday.
