Hogan to hold news conference on campaign

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Republican Larry Hogan is scheduled to hold a news conference to talk about his campaign for governor of Maryland.

Hogan has scheduled a morning news conference Thursday at his campaign headquarters in Annapolis.

The campaign is describing the event as Hogan’s first news conference of the general election. Hogan is expected to talk about the current state of the race. The campaign also says the candidate will respond to ads aired by his opponent, Democratic Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown.

Hogan’s campaign also says the candidate will talk about plans for the rest of the campaign.
