FBI joins hunt for suspect in toddler’s shooting

LANDOVER, Md. (AP) — The FBI has joined the search for a man suspected in the fatal shooting of a toddler in Landover, more than doubling the reward for his capture.

The FBI said Friday they’re now searching for 25-year-old Davon Wallace and offering a reward of $20,000 for his capture.

That’s on top of $25,000 being offered by Prince George’s police.

Wallace is suspected of shooting 3-year-old Knijah Amore Bibb last month while she was visiting a Landover home.

The toddler was shot after a fight broke out between Wallace and one of the home’s residents. Police say Wallace pulled a gun and fired shots at the house, and that one bullet hit Knijah.

Investigators think Wallace may have fled to parts near Washington D.C., or to Richmond, Virginia or Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
