Metrobus involved in crash on Beltway on-ramp

BETHESDA, Md. (AP) — Authorities say four people were injured in a crash involving a car and a Metrobus on an entrance ramp to the Capital Beltway.

The crash occurred around 3:45 p.m. in Bethesda, on the entrance ramp from Old Georgetown Road to Interstate 495.

Metro spokeswoman Morgan Dye says two people on the bus and two people in the car were injured.

Montgomery County fire officials say all four people were taken to hospitals, including one who had to be extricated from a vehicle.

The cause of the collision is unknown. Police are on the scene.
