WASHINGTON -- Tuesday is primary election day in Maryland, and an election official has a few tips to make voting quick and easy.
Montgomery County Board of Elections spokeswoman Marjorie Roher reminds voters that, unlike during the early-voting period earlier this month, they need to go to their regular polling place. The early-voting locations are closed.
Roher says voters should review the sample ballot they've gotten in the mail -- figure out for whom they want to vote and know before they go where to find them on the ballot.
"The voting process is really easy when you get to the voting machine if you know who you want to vote for, so be prepared," Roher says.
Voters should be ready before they go to vote, Roher says, and they can "be in and out of there fairly quickly."
