WASHINGTON — Thousands of people are still without power and air conditioning across our area right now in the aftermath of the storms that hit the area in the predawn hours this morning.
About 2,700 Dominion Power customers are out in Northern Virginia, mainly in Caroline County. About 900 are out in Spotsylvania, and about 700 customers are without power in Fairfax County.
About 1,700 Pepco customers are out, mainly in the Upper Marlboro and Croom areas.
BGE and other utilities reporting a handful of outages.
