Va. teacher pleads guilty to coercing minor

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) — A fourth grade teacher from Charlottesville is facing at least 10 years in prison for having sexually explicit online chats with a 15-year-old girl.

Federal prosecutors say 44-year-old Corey Schock pleaded guilty Thursday to online coercion and enticement of a minor in U.S. District Court in Alexandria.

Schock admitted to having sexually explicit online chats with the girl who lived in Woodbridge, including sending the victim several sexually explicit pictures of himself. At his request, the girl also sent him pictures and videos of herself engaging in sexually explicit behavior.

According to court documents, Schock engaged in similar conduct with numerous other minors over a two-year period.

He faces a maximum of life in prison when sentenced Aug. 29.
