HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) — A 17-year-old Cascade boy allegedly shot at two more cars on the same day he allegedly fired a .22-caliber rifle at a car driven by an off-duty police officer.
The Herald-Mail (http://bit.ly/RvlftH ) reports that the teen remains held without bail after a hearing Thursday in Hagerstown. His lawyer didn’t immediately return a call Friday from The Associated Press.
Police say the teen told investigators he shot at a number of vehicles April 16 that he thought were trying to run him over. The AP generally does not identify juveniles accused of crimes.
Police now say he also fired at a car carrying a couple who found him standing in the road, and at another car after telling the driver to give him all his money. No one was hurt.
