WASHINGTON (AP) -- D.C. police have charged a man in a shooting that killed two men and injured a third.
Officers say on July 17, three men were found shot on Ridge Road in Southeast. Nineteen-year-old Anthony Chase and 27-year-old Eric Leeper were pronounced dead at the scene. The third man was hospitalized.
Police say 22-year-old Carlton Maurice Johnson of Washington was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of first-degree murder while armed in the deaths of Chase and Leeper.
