PRINCE GEORGE, Va. (AP) -- Perdue Foods is increasing the capacity at its Prince George distribution center, resulting in 190 new jobs.
The company says it's investing $3 million in additional equipment to support continued growth across the Perdue and Harvestland brands.
The move should bring the number of people employed at the facility to more than 500.
The distribution center receives packaged fresh chicken products from processing plants, then labels and boxes them for shipping.
