MURRAY, Ky. (AP) -- Murray Ledger & Times Publisher Alice Rouse is retiring to the position of publisher emeritus and will be succeeded by Mike Davis, who has served newspapers in Virginia and Kentucky.
Rouse has been with the newspaper almost 40 years, beginning as a bookkeeper in 1975. She became publisher in 2001 following the retirement of the late Walt Apperson.
