WASHINGTON (AP) -- Metro trains will be operating on a Saturday schedule for the Presidents Day holiday.
Metro says the system will open at 5 a.m. and close at midnight on Monday.
Metro is also continuing track work through the Monday holiday. On the red line, free shuttle buses are replacing red line trains between Woodley Park and Metro Center. The Farragut North and Dupont Circle stations are closed. Metro says express buses are operating between Woodley Park and Metro Center. Passengers using those buses should add about 20 minutes to their travel times. Local buses are also operating and making intermediate stops at the closed stations.
No track work is being done on the orange, blue, yellow and green lines.
