RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- The board overseeing a group tasked with spurring economic development in Virginia has new leadership.
The Virginia Economic Development Partnership says its 24-member board recently elected a new chair and vice chair.
Officials say Donald Seale will serve as chair and Chris Lumsden will serve as vice chair.
Seale is the chief marketing officer at Norfolk Southern Corp. and Lumsden is CEO at Halifax Regional Health System.
The Virginia Economic Development Partnership is a marketing organization created by the Virginia General Assembly in 1995 to encourage, stimulate and support the development and expansion of Virginia's economy.
