WASHINGTON — Several area hospitals are turning to the public for help in getting essential personnel to work Thursday.
They are all looking for volunteer drivers who have four-wheel drive vehicles to transport staff members.
The following hospitals are looking for help:
- NIH Clinical Center: Needs volunteers to drive employees to work. Call: 301- 496-3316.
- Inova Alexandria Hospital: Needs volunteer drivers after 3 p.m. Call: 703-504- 3375.
- Doctors Community Hospital: Call 301-552-8888
- Inova Mt. Vernon Hospital: Volunteer drivers needed later in the afternoon. Call: 703-664-7618.
Volunteers from Volunteer Fairfax are providing rides for medical personnel in Fairfax County who need to get to hospitals Thursday. This service is only for Fairfax County residents and medical personnel. To get a ride, call 703-691-2131.
