BALTIMORE (AP) -- The number of power outages due to recent bad weather is decreasing in Maryland.
The state emergency management agency reported 1,634 outages as of 6:30 on Saturday evening. That's down from totals earlier in the day.
Most of the remaining outages are in the central part of the state.
Meanwhile in Pennsylvania, utility crews restored power to thousands of homes Saturday, but some customers in the dark for days after a tree-snapping ice storm may not regain power until early next week.
