RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- A Pulaski County firearms maker is moving and expanding its operations.
Alexander Industries plans to relocate from the Radford Arsenal to the Dublin Industrial Park, which is also in Pulaski County, and add 64 new jobs.
Company officials and Gov. Bob McDonnell announced the plans Thursday. The company will spend $2.88 million on the move and expansion.
McDonnell said Virginia beat out South Dakota and Texas for the project. He awarded a $150,000 grant from the Governor's Opportunity Fund to assist with the project.
