HAMPTON, Va. (AP) -- A teenager has been arrested in the shooting deaths of two men at a Hampton skate park.
According to media reports, police identified the victims of Tuesday's shootings as 21-year-old Donivan K. Walker Jr. and 20-year-old Kenneth J. Wilson, both of Hampton.
Hampton Police Cpl. Mary Shackleford says the suspect left Woodland Skateboard Park after a confrontation and returned with a gun. The two men were shot and the gunman fled on a moped.
A few minutes later police received a call about a carjacking by a person matching the shooter's description. The 16-year-old suspect was arrested after a short pursuit and was charged with capital murder and eight other offenses. Police did not release his name because of his age.
