NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -- A man sentenced as a teenager to six life terms for a robbery is asking Gov. Bob McDonnell for a conditional pardon.

Lawyers for 23- year-old Travion Blount applied for a conditional pardon on Monday.

The Virginian-Pilot (http://bit.ly/1lwqqkM ) reports that Blount's lawyers are seeking a sentence of no more than 20 years.

According to court records, Blount was 15 when he and two 18-year-old men robbed a house party in September 2006. A Norfolk jury convicted him of 49 felonies, including robbery, in 2007. He received six life sentences plus 118 years.

Blount's co-defendants pleaded guilty and received 10-year and 13-year sentences.
