BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore homicide detectives are investigating the deaths of two men who are believed to have fallen off a cargo ship into the Patapsco River.
Police and fire officials say they were called to the scene in the city's Port Covington area shortly before 6 a.m. Sunday. Fire crews rescued a woman who was clinging to a pier near the ship.
Rescuers were informed that two men were in the water and didn't make it to the pier. Crews recovered the bodies of the two men later Sunday morning.
The woman was treated at a hospital and released in good condition.
Police haven't released the men's names, but authorities reported earlier Sunday that the missing men were 27 and 24 years old.
