Va. driving instructor charged with sexual abuse

WASHINGTON — A Loudoun County driving instructor was arrested Wednesday for allegedly sexually abusing two students.

Khawaja S. Vohra, 63, of Ashburn, Va. has been charged with taking indecent liberties with a child by a person in a custodial relationship and three counts of sexual battery of an adult student.

Vohra is the owner and operator of AALI Fastrack Driving School, which works with teenagers across the region.

Officials say the first incident was reported in September after Vohra made inappropriate comments to an 18-year-old student. He also touched her during two lessons.

Detectives learned of another victim, a minor, in October.

Vohra was released on a $25,000 bond and ordered to have no unsupervised contact with females under the age of 21.

Officials worry there are other victims who have not yet come forward.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the Loudoun County Sherriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division and ask for Detective J. Cichocki at 703-737-8481, or call the main Criminal Investigations Division phone number at 703-777-0475.
