RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- A Richmond man will spend three years in prison for stealing two electric generators from a U.S. military base in Iraq.

Reuben Thomas also must pay $352,110 in restitution to the Army.

Court documents show the 35-year-old Thomas pleaded guilty earlier this year to theft of government property. He was sentenced Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Richmond.

The indictment says Thomas stole the generators, valued at $176,000 apiece, in June 2009. He was employed by Honeywell Technologies Solutions at the Camp Victory Base Complex in Baghdad.
