COURTLAND, Va. (AP) -- A Wakefield man faces charges of causing about $10,000 in damage at a cemetery in Southampton County.
Media outlets report that deputies arrested 25-year-old Toney Allen Brock on Monday. He's charged with intentional damage to a monument greater than $1,000 and two related counts.
Major Gene Drewery with the Southampton County Sheriff's Office says several headstones and footstones were broken at a cemetery in the Sebrell area in late September.
Brock is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday afternoon in Southampton County General District Court.
