HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) -- A former Maryland news editor is being sent to prison for trying to seduce a 14-year-old girl who turned out to be an agent from the Pennsylvania attorney general's office.

A Dauphin County judge Tuesday sentenced 56-year-old George Lundskow to three and a half to seven years in state prison.

PennLive.com reports (http://tinyurl.com/l9o96xf ) that Lundskow, a former online editor for the Annapolis Capital Gazette, was arrested in March on allegations he engaged in online conversations to persuade the supposed teenager to have sex with him.

He pleaded guilty to unlawful contact with a minor, criminal use of a communications facility and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with someone younger than 16.

PennLive.com says Lundskow told the judge he's ashamed of his actions and that they've shattered his daughter's image of him.
